Yes, Tanzania is one of the safest countries in Africa for tourists. We operate in stable, secure regions including Arusha, Serengeti, and Zanzibar. Our guests are accompanied by professional guides and use private, secure transport throughout the journey.
Most international visitors require a visa. We highly recommend obtaining an E-Visa online at least 2 weeks before travel to avoid queues. Visas can also be obtained upon arrival at major airports (JRO, DAR, ZNZ) for approx. $50-100 USD depending on nationality.
The migration is a year-round cycle. For the dramatic River Crossings, visit the Northern Serengeti from July to October. For the Calving Season (thousands of babies born daily), visit the Southern Serengeti/Ndutu from January to February.
Pack light, breathable layers in neutral colors (khaki, olive, beige). Avoid bright colors and camouflage. Don’t forget a warm fleece for mornings, comfortable boots, and good binoculars. Download our full packing checklist above.
