To confirm your safari, a deposit is required. Once received, we send your official voucher and itinerary.
Travelers are responsible for obtaining valid documents. Africa Prime Experiences is not liable for delays due to incomplete documentation.
We recommend applying online via the official government website (allows 10 days).
All foreign travelers to Zanzibar must purchase mandatory travel insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation. This is required even if you hold personal insurance.
Applies only to Zanzibar entry (not Mainland Tanzania).

Tipping is a customary way to show appreciation for the hard work of your crew. It should reflect the quality of service. Please use USD bills dated 2000 or newer.

Expect to tip approx. $250–$350 per climber for the entire trek.

For climbs, a ceremony is held after summit day. You may hand tips directly, put them in an envelope, or designate a shared group tip. Transparency is key—please inform the crew of your method.
Tipping is based on service quality, not summit success. If staff request tips during the trek, please report it immediately to Africa Prime Experiences.
