Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

Morning (Approx. 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM):

07:00 AM: Private pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha (or upon arrival at JRO). Enjoy a scenic 60-90 minute drive through the Kilimanjaro region's lush landscapes and local villages.

08:30 AM: Arrival at Serval Wildlife Sanctuary. A warm welcome with refreshing drinks and a short safety & conservation briefing from your expert guide.

09:00 AM: Begin your immersive wildlife encounter. Walk alongside and interact with the sanctuary's gentle residents, including Maasai giraffes, zebras, and elands. Learn their individual stories and the sanctuary's rescue mission.

10:30 AM: Guided nature walk through the sanctuary's diverse habitats. Your guide will point out indigenous flora, birdlife, and smaller creatures, offering insights into the local ecosystem.

12:00 PM: A delicious, freshly prepared lunch is served at the sanctuary's lodge. Dine with panoramic views of the gardens and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Afternoon (Approx. 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM):

01:00 PM: Leisure time to relax on the lodge terrace, enjoy the serene atmosphere, and take photographs of the stunning surroundings.

02:00 PM: Optional, supervised feeding session with some of the animals (subject to animal welfare and daily schedule).

03:00 PM: Final opportunity for photography or a quiet moment to soak in the peaceful environment.

04:00 PM: Bid farewell to the animals and staff. Depart from the sanctuary for your return journey.

05:00 - 05:30 PM: Drop-off at your hotel in Moshi/Arusha or at JRO for your onward travel.
