Day 1

Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Early in the morning your guide will pick you from your accommodation in Arusha or from Airport if you are just arrived. After a short brief you will start safari passing Mto wa Mbu, Karatu to Ngorongoro. From the entrance you will enjoy fascinating nature with tropical forest smell, twinkling sound of birds and clouds in dense forest, then descending downward the crater almost 600 more meters to enjoy wildlife variety.
The Ngorongoro crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Also, you will enjoy a dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the leopard. Possibly you may be lucky to see Big Five game animals: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros.
You will break in the afternoon for lunch provided in lunch boxes in picnic area, while enjoying wildlife diversity. In evening we will leave the Ngorongoro crater and return back to Arusha city

Yes, we provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for all our package bookings.

What type of vehicle do we use?

We use custom 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for 360-degree game viewing. Each vehicle is equipped with a fridge, charging ports, and radio calls.

Do I need a Visa for Tanzania?

Most travelers need a visa. You can obtain an E-Visa online beforehand or a Visa on Arrival ($50 USD or $100 USD for US citizens). Please check your specific country requirements.

What about dietary requirements?
